Verdict: A Los Angeles County jury found socialite Rebecca Grossman guilty on all five charges, including murder, in the deaths of two young boys who were struck in a Westlake Village crosswalk by Grossman’s car in 2020.

Defense's Argument: Grossman's defense attorneys claimed it wasn’t her vehicle that fatally struck the two young boys, instead alleging that Scott Erickson, a former Dodger pitcher and Grossman’s alleged love interest at the time, was responsible for the collision.

Prosecution's Claim: The prosecution claimed that Grossman was speeding at 81 mph in a 45-mph zone just seconds before impact, supported by data from the vehicle's black box.

Defense's Counterargument: Buzbee contended that Grossman was driving 52 mph "at best" and pointed the blame at Erickson, alleging he was driving a black Mercedes SUV just ahead of Grossman's vehicle.

Verdict and Sentencing: Grossman was handcuffed and taken into custody after the verdict was announced. Sentencing is set for April 10, and she could face up to 34 years to life in state prison.

Closure for the Iskander Family: The Iskander family expressed relief at the closure the verdict brings after more than three years of legal proceedings, emphasizing that their sons were murdered, not simply victims of an accident.
